Israel: Losing War
Since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood conducted by Hamas against Israel in October 2023, Benjamin's government has lost its sences. Though it has taken lives of more than 40 thousand innocent people in Gaza, attacked hospitals and refugees’ camps, breached sovereignties of Iran, Lebanon and other Middle Eastern countries and used inhuman tactics to bulldoze resistance yet the anger is still on a high node and the Zionists want to completely annihilate their opponents.
In this tumultuous situation, a question arises in people's mind whether Israel will become victorious?
The answer of this question is no. Yes, in current situation, it looks like that Israel is going to completely occupy Gaza and some other hotspots and the operation will end the story of Hamas, Hezbollah and other opposing forces once and for all. But, in long run, the picture will be quiet different.
First of all, Hamas highly coordinated and well-planned operation in the last October despite strong vigilance of Israeli security forces and missile attacks on Israel from Lebanon, Yemen and Iran make it clear that Isreali internal and external security is largely at a stake. To ensure its safety in future, it has to keep spending huge chunk of its budget on the defense. But, will the people of Israel accept this for a longer period of time is the most worrying thing for the elite.
Then, the rising tension of Israel with Iran, Lebanon and other Muslim states of the region and the military adventures have already given impression to the world that Israeli market is not a save place for investment and business which means the regime has lost war of perception or the fifth generation warfare and its impacts on the Knesset’s economy will be very detrimental.
Meanwhile, at international front, Benjamin's led regime’s isolation has been growing due to the war. Boycott of Netanyahu speech at the floor of UN General Assembly by the huge number of attendees in the most recent session and the strong criticism of global leaders against Israel are testament to the fact.
At the same time, heinous crimes of Israeli forces in Gaza and lack of respect for international law have made the state a threat to liberal norms. Countries like South Africa have knocked the doors of International Criminal Court and other international forums to save humanity and norms and true liberal minds have turned totally against the Benjamin's government.
In addition to this, use of digital tools like explosion of pagers to kill opponents have further tainted the image of Israel, introduced it to the world as a modern day pioneer of digital terrorism and made the public opinion highly anti-Israel.
Moreover, when the world is grappling with serious challenges of inflation, global warming and climate change, no one likes warmongering and bellicocity of Israel.
Last but not the least, the stakeholders of Israel’s all weather friends like the USA are facing serious wrath of local public at home as social media has laid bare the criminal activities of Israelies in Gaza. And, they are also facing the challenges posed by China and Russia at international front. Therefore, there is no guarantee of their egging on Israel in the comming days. Even in the on-going campaign of Presidential Elections in USA, from Kamala Harris to Donald Trump, everyone is very careful about the discussion of support of Israel because they know that the public is very angry at Israel.
The array of facts indicates that Israel has been losing the war at every front. It has to either choose detente for saving it's pride or face the consequences of its haughty attitude.
